Picture this: it's late spring of 1942, and the snow base is 2nd-story tall at Mt. Lassen Volcanic National Park in California. A photographer snapped this excellent photo of 4 west coast women heading out for turns on a warm, sunny day. At that time Mt. Lassen had a rope tow, and people would hike up and race down the mountain. This pretty much sums up spring and summer skiing in a part of the country where the powder is deep, and the ski season never really ends.

We printed this black & white photo mega-large on 100% cotton, all black t-shirts using low-impact inks (no plastic or PVCs) that integrate into the cotton - not sit on top of it. The feel is soft, and will blend deeper into the fibers with each wash, without fading out. The printing stays cool against your body and it doesn't chip like plastic printing does.

We're currently out of this style for women, but if you visit us at a market, you can find them in different women's cuts. Our unisex cut is a looser fit - like most unisex t-shirts. Find measurements of all tees in the "Details" tab.

In these photos: Grant wears a unisex size Large. Isabel wears a unisex XS in the photo with the volleyball, and a women's XS in the photo with Ian, who wears a unisex Medium.
